Movember is a wide-world charity event focusing on men’s health – raising awareness about prostate cancer and testicular cancer prevention. In November, men grow moustaches to draw attention to these topics and to raise funds. In the Czech Republic, this event is organized by the fund Muži proti rakovině (Men against cancer).
This is my 10th year with a moustache. I have to admit I’m not very good at raising funds. I take it as an opportunity to focus more on my health and get back to some exercise routines. My effort in exercising is usually lowered during summer and my moustache helps me to get to it again. I was therefore glad when the MOVE part of Movember started to be promoted as well. Especially this video is very motivating for me:
